The Offas Dyke Pathway…

The area is renowned for its beautiful walking trails, including the Offas Dyke Pathway which winds its way across the Welsh Marches.  Offa’s Dyke is a great frontier earthwork built by Offa, King of Mercia from 757 to 796 A.D. It gives its name to a long distance footpath, one of Britain’s National Trails, which runs from Sedbury, near Chepstow, to Prestatyn through the varied and little-frequented landscapes of the Welsh Marches.  Some spectacular scenery can be viewed along the trail and there are numerous B&B’s along the way.   Hindwell is located approximately one and a half miles from the path crossing in Evenjobb.  We are happy to collect you from the path at an arranged time and deliver you back to the path the following day.  Please telephone for details.

Other local spectacular walks can be found detailed on the Kington walks Website at…  http://www.kingtonwalks.org
